The first Abbey Gastropub in Budapest opened its doors more than 20 years ago at the foot of Buda Castle. Our specialty is a wide selection of abbey and Trappist beers, which are primarily connected by their past: elegant, well-balanced drinks made in abbeys based on hundreds of year-old recipes. Our beer list includes more than 100 international beers, including 60 abbey, Hungarian, Belgian and German beers. In its atmosphere, this echoes in our cellar as well, as it evokes the spirit of an original Belgian abbey. It is a perfect place to organize any family, friend meeting or company event. Up to 80 people can be comfortably accommodated in our two separate rooms. From spring to autumn, our terrace with a unique atmosphere waits for our guests.

Our chefs pay particular attention to the preparation of our dishes, which are often based on the main pillar of the place, beer. Our menu includes street food dishes that go perfectly with beer, some elements of Belgian cuisine and classic dishes of Hungarian cuisine.
